Effective July 26, 2009
To improve efficiency, changes or adjustments are being made to the following routes:
Route 2 - Nebraska Avenue
Saturday and Sunday southbound departure times from University Area Transit Center will leave 10 minutes earlier to provide connectivity with routes serving Marion Transit Center.
Route 6 - 56th Street
Weekday frequency during peak morning and afternoon service hours will increase from
30 minutes to 20 minutes.
Route 7 - West Tampa/Citrus Park
Frequency on weekday service between West Tampa Transfer Center and Wal-Mart at Henderson Road will change from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Route 8 - Progress Village/Brandon
Weekday service time changes and elimination of last two late night trips. The last trip will leave Marion Transit Center and Westfield Brandon mall at 10 p.m.
Route 15 - Columbus Drive
Minor schedule changes on Saturday and Sunday. New schedules with time changes will be available soon.
Route 18 - 30th Street
A 5:40 a.m. southbound trip will be added to weekday service.
Route 19 - Port Tampa
Northbound 8:50 a.m. trip from O’Brien Street and Idaho Street will be changed to 8:40 a.m.
Route 30 - Town 'N Country
Time adjustments on weekday, Saturday and Sunday service to shorten layover at Westshore Plaza.
Route 32 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard
Frequency of service east of the Netpark Transfer Center will be changed from 30 minutes to 60 minutes on weekdays.
Route 45 - UATC/Rome Ave./Westshore Plaza
Sunday southbound departure times will be adjusted five minutes later to match Saturday service.
Route 88 - Town ‘N Country Connector
Will operate during peak service hours only. Route will no longer serve Longboat Blvd. or Elliot Dr.
Route 22X - Dover/Brandon Express
Westbound 6 a.m. trip will be eliminated.
Route 24X - FishHawk/Riverview/MacDill AFB Express
Westbound 4:15 a.m. "early bird" trip will be eliminated.
Route 25X - South Brandon/MacDill AFB Express
Westbound 4:05 a.m. "early bird" trip will be eliminated.
Route 27X - FishHawk/South Brandon Express
Morning departure times from J.C. Handley Park-n-Ride to be two minutes earlier.
Route 47LX - SouthShore Limited Express
Short morning and afternoon trips (Gibsonton Wal-Mart to downtown) will be eliminated; 4:35 p.m. departure will change to 4:40 p.m.
Route 59LX - Westchase/Town ‘N Country Limited Express
Departure time from Marion Transit Center on 5:30 p.m. northbound trip will change to 5:15 p.m. The 6:36 p.m. departure from Tri-County business park will change to 6:21p.m..
New route schedules will be available on or before July 15, 2009, at www.goHART.org and on board buses, at HART Customer Service Centers or by mail. Prior to this date, you can call the HARTinfo Line at (813) 254-HART for more information.
